How do I add packhouse data?

Initial packhouse information can be entered in the Sandy Setup section. To access the packhouse module, click on Enterprise Specific Data, then Packhouse and finally Manage data.

On the next page, click the Add Packhouse subsection, and then click the +Add another packhouse button to enter the name into the field with the house icon.

If you have multiple packhouses, you should add them all at this stage.

Open the Add Packhouse details subsection, and click the green Add details button. Fill in the required data in the popup box, accordingly. Click Save to close this box. If your packhouse processes more than one product, provide this information here using the same steps.

Repeat these steps for all of your packhouses.

Now head to Activate each service within Sandy Setup, and in the Carbon tab, click Manage data.

Ensuring you are on the Packhouse tab, you are presented with 4 data categories:

1. Packaging details

2. Packaging - material details

3. Energy usage details

4. Refrigerant leakage

Beginning with Packaging details, click Manage data, and then click Add details to provide Sandy with the data when prompted.

Please note: the packhouse module works in succession, meaning that you must enter all the data for the current section, to open the subsequent section.

Fill out the data for remaining 3 data categories.

Alternatively, you may find it easier to provide your packhouse and packaging data via our Excel template. This is particularly useful if you already have your packhouse dataset in an Excel format.

Head to Activate each service for Carbon, click Manage data, navigate to thePackhouse tab, and click Manage data for Packaging details. Finally, click the green text Import via Excel to download the template. Provide your data within the template, save it, and reupload it to Sandy in the same location.

After your data is fully uploaded to Sandy, you can now head to the Carbon calculator, and run a calculation for your packhouse enterprise. Separate instructions on how to use the carbon calculator are available in the Help Centre.
