How do I onboard woodland with mapping?
Begin by clicking to Sandy setup, then scroll to Mapping and click Setup. Proceed with the Advanced mapping tool, and click Next.
Select your farm from the drop-down list. Also select the field(s) you added earlier, and then click the green Draw field button, and the white Draw area button on the map, to begin drawing your woodland boundaries.
When you have finished drawing your woodland field, click Save to save your field. Click on the woodland you have mapped, and then add field data. Select the name and the land use categories from the two drop down list. Click Save.
Finally, click +Add to add land use type in Field main land use drop down list. Select the correct options for your woodland, and click Update to save.
Repeat these steps so you have mapped each of your woodlands. Save your progress.
Next you can carry out a carbon calculation. There are separate instructions available on how to do this.
