How do I run a Scenario Footprint?

Running a scenario footprint to look at changes to particular elements of your current management is easy.

Step 1

  • Navigate to Sandy's Homepage. Then click into Sustainability on the left-hand side. Next, select Carbon, and finally Carbon Calculator.

Step 2

  • Click the + Start a new calculation button.

Step 3

  • Set up your calculation, as required, by completing the relevant fields with year, farms, enterprises, and fields.

  • In the field where it asks Is this an Actual Calculation, please select No as this makes the dataset editable at a later stage.

Step 4

  • To replicate data from an existing footprint (even partially), click Replicate data.

Step 5

  • Select the relevant enterprise you’d like to replicate data for from another footprint

  • Then select the data source (which other footprint if you have more than one)

  • Then select the datapoints that you would like to replicate from the selected footprint to your new one

  • Work your way down the enterprise list repeating the above as relevant

  • If you do not choose to replicate from another footprint, Sandy will automatically pull in said data from Setup

  • Once you’ve selected all you wish to, click Apply

Step 6

  • Once you have selected all the data to replicate, scroll up and click Next.


 

Step 7

  • Then, you can edit the enterprise and relevant data by clicking the + Add databutton for that section.

Step 8

  • Click Calculate to run the footprint as normal, and see the effect of scenario planning on your footprint.
