How do I setup my Sandy account?
Initial Account Setup

Introduction

When you access Sandy for the first time, you will be automatically be taken to the “Introduction” page at the start of the “My Account” section. Here you will need to work through each step to set up your account. This needs to be completed before you can use Sandy.
To access this page from the Sandy home screen, click on Utilities, and then Sandy Setup in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
To start the account setup process, click on Set up account. This will take you to the Organisation setup page.
If at any point within Sandy you need help, would like to request a feature, or offer feedback, please click on the green help icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Organisation Setup

Enter your organisation name as it appears on business invoices, if possible. Then, enter your business address and contact details.
To save and proceed to the next page, click Next step. This will take you to the Farm Setup page.
Farm Setup

In this section you need to provide details of any farm enterprises you want to include on
Sandy. You will also need to select the number of years of farm data you will be providing.
Sandy allows you to have multiple farms set up within the same account.
Sandy will function correctly with just one year of data. However for a more accurate result
we recommend using at least 3 years of data. For users wishing to generate natural capital
credits, we advise using a minimum of 5 years of data.
To add a farm, click + Add farm. You can edit or delete a farm by clicking on the edit and delete icons. To add farm details, start by entering your farm name and postcode. This will allow Sandy to geolocate your farm and obtain the correct environmental data.
To select the enterprises you would like to include on Sandy, click on the relevant icons. Then select the number of years of data you would like to provide using the + and - icons. Sandy will automatically assume that the selected enterprises should be applied to each year of data, but you can change the enterprises for each year if needed, by clicking on the relevant year and selecting the correct enterprises. Click Save to confirm.
Farm Management Software

If you use Gatekeeper or Muddyboots as your Farm Management Software, Sandy allows
you to set up an API link to automatically import certain data items.
If you use one of the aforementioned FMS platforms, select Connect your farm management software, and tick the box to select the platform you use. You can select both if needed.
To proceed to the next page, select Next step. This will take you to the Sandy Setup homepage. If you use Gatekeeper or Muddyboots, you will be prompted to set up your API
link here. Detailed guidance will be provided in a separate instruction document.
