How do I use edit multiple?

This feature will add or edit data points, like fields or years, across multiple existing records at one time.

When to use Edit multiple records?

 

Edit multiple is a feature within Sandy’s Carbon, Biodiversity and Water protection services. When you have imported some data into Sandy from FMS or Excel, and you want to add or edit multiple data points for multiple existing fields and or harvest years, use Edit multiple. Edit multiple will add or edit data points across multiple existing records.

 

 


How to use Edit multiple

 

Step 1

  • Go to Sandy Setup.

  • Select Activate services.

Step 2

  • Select the service (e.g. Carbon) within which you want to Edit multiple existing records. Please note, when you use Edit multiple within one service, these changes will be applied across Sandy’s services.

  • Select Manage data.

Step 3

  • Choose the type of records that you want to edit (e.g Cropping Data). Select Manage data.

Step 4

  • Ensure you have selected the relevant farm, field, and year. Select Edit multiple.

    • To edit all existing records, click Select All.

    • To edit specific records, click in the empty box next to each record that you want to edit.

Step 5

  • When a record has been selected, the box will change to green with a tick.

Step 6

  • When you have selected the records that you want to edit, click Edit Selected.

Step 7

  • The Edit Multiple side bar menu will open. Select or enter the data points you want to edit and/or add.

Step 8

  • Click Save. The existing records will be edited.
